Your Go-To Home Therapist
Growing up in a household of an architect and real estate brokers, I naturally fell into design. My background as a marriage & family therapist and real estate professional informs all my interior design projects. After all, these are homes we need to really live in!
When helping my clients find the home of their dreams it was as much about the inside as it was the location. So my designs emphasize wellness from the inside out, creating thoughtful spaces that empower my clients to live their best lives.
Anita incorporates clean lines, California Casual accents, and a blend of high-low design solutions for a relaxed update on a timeless style. With a talent for layering textiles, Anita thoughtfully applies pattern and texture to create depth and harmony in the home. Her holistic approach integrates both aesthetic principles and the residents’ relational goals to curate intentional spaces that work smarter, not harder.
Since beginning her blog in 2016, her relatable, positive energy and intuitive eye for great design have attracted a passionate audience across Instagram, Pinterest, and her website. Over the course of countless DIYs and an impressive array of successful renovations, the therapist-turned-designer developed a methodology that prioritizes the relationships at the heart of every home—the subject of her coming book!
My superpower is helping women become the best version of themselves while pursuing the kind of life they actually want... one with abundant freedom, joy, and peace.
In 2017, Domino named Anita’s site the Best New Design Blog, and shortly thereafter HGTV chose her to lead design production for their 2019 Dream Home and Hidden Potential show. The same year, Real Simple recruited Anita to design their 2019 Idea Home. She’s been featured in MyDomaine, Glitter Guide, Lonny, and several other publications.
Anita resides in Southern California with her three fun-loving daughters: Rachel, Emily, and Natalie. Together with Travis, aka “Mr. Meticulous,” her DIY partner and husband of 19 years, Anita tests out different techniques for a more organized, intentional at-home experience.
Design’s ability to unite people.

Repeat my favorite mantra:
