It’s that time of year again for Room For Tuesday Design Blogger Cookie Exchange! I absolutely adore every friend’s recipe and home! And I know you will too. So after getting my best kitchen design ideas and EASIEST NO BAKE holiday dessert recipe, hop on over to the rest of my friends’ homes and enjoy!

Today’s blog post is super exciting because I’ll be revealing my latest client kitchen renovation project as well!

Last year Emily and Natalie made super easy no-bake chocolate covered Oreos. This year they picked Milk and Cookies Bark. It turned out so cute!

Before we begin, here’s the recipe:

My clients’ loved the girls and were so gracious to let us make the fun no-bake dessert in their new kitchen.

Natalie loves to help big sis Emily with all kinds of baking at home! And I’m very blessed to have the best mommy’s helper via Emily. Since Emily was 5, she has been Natalie’s confidant and best friend. True sisterhood!

 

I bet you’re noticing the beautiful kitchen quartz countertops and white shaker cabinets! My client leans towards traditional design but she loved the pops of black. I told her that’s the perfect balance of modern and traditional.

The long drawer pulls really adds a modern vibe too. We mixed it with the rustic cabinet pulls. I think we found the right combination of rustic and modern, don’t you think?

Going with the black and white theme, we went with a beautiful cement tile pattern for the range backsplash. And then 3×9 white subway tile all the way up. My client initially didn’t realize she wanted the custom wood range hood. That’s until I designed it and showed her. I’m so glad we did it. It adds such refined detail and keeps everything cohesive. Having a blaring silver metal range hood wasn’t in my design vision for their kitchen.

 

Ok, back to the recipe! Emily and Natalie easily spread the vanilla bark on a cookie sheet. Then added sprinkles and mini chocolate chip cookies. Guys, this recipe is way too easy!

Natalie can hardly wait to eat this whole Milk and Cookies bark up! Can you tell by her anticipatory look?

Emily did a great job making sure the bark was evenly spread. The sprinkles and cookies were fun to place!

Take a look at what they made? Isn’t it totes yummy and pretty? I’m so impressed.

We also brought our favorite cookies from Whole Foods over for the clients as a thank you. Needless to say, the kids gobbled them up in no time. The girls know the clients’ son from the neighborhood. So they had fun eating cookies and watching the Grinch while I shot the rest of the kitchen.

I just LOVE adding oversized cutting boards by the range, don’t you?
