Hi! Here’s a link to the mattress. It’s a queen and is 10″ thick, which is as thick the murphy bed design would allow for. We considered just making a bigger box to fit the thicker mattress we had from the previous bed, but we didn’t want to chance deviating from the instructions.

The door is plywood and the slats on the door are pine. We’d probably use something different for the slats next time as some of them have had slight warping.
